She is a fully authorized cardiologist in Turkey and works as an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the Dr. Siyami Ersek Cardiothoracic Surgery Center in Istanbul, Turkey. Since 2024, she has been a research fellow and PhD candidate in the Department of Cardiology at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), Leiden, the Netherlands. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI), and the ESC Heart Failure Association. Her principal research interests include preventive cardiology, risk prediction, cardiomyopathies, heart failure, and cardiac imaging using 3D echocardiography and speckle-tracking echocardiography. She holds EACVI accreditation in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
