Dr. Görkem Astarcıoğlu completed her secondary education at Çankaya Anatolian High School between 1992 and 1999, followed by her medical degree at Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Medicine from 1999 to 2005.
She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital (2005–2011) and subsequently fulfilled her mandatory state service at Eşme State Hospital from July 2011 to October 2012.
After practicing at Private Medifema Hospital from April 2013 to January 2020, Dr. Astarcıoğlu established her private practice in Alsancak, İzmir, where she currently provides patient care.
In addition to her clinical career, she holds an Associate Degree in Health Institutions Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Anadolu University Open Education Faculty. She is also the author of the book "Bebek Rehberi İlk Bir Yıl" (The Baby Guide: The First Year), published by HayyKitap in 2018.
In 2019, she earned her AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine. She also ventured into the business sector by founding Hekimanne Health Consultancy Software and Medical Equipment Inc. within the Technology Development Zone of the İzmir Institute of Technology.
